Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, June 21, 2017 — Bay Lakes Information Systems has been featured in a new video on the economics of tourism, produced for the Door County Visitor Bureau in Door County, WI.
The piece, titled “I Am Tourism,” features business leaders from Door County discussing the economic impact of tourism on their community across a wide swath of industries. Bay Lakes president Greg Swain was interviewed and discussed tourism as an economic driver for the software industry.
“We’ve been based in Door County for more than 30 years now, and our primary focus is software for the tourism and hospitality industry,” Swain said.
Bay Lakes works to create software that makes it easier for property managers and area chambers of commerce and visitor bureaus to not only improve their guest experience, but to pinpoint their marketing efforts to better attract new guests. These efforts include the Lodgical Solution property management software, the InnLine visitor information portal, and room tax filing software.
